Swim Lessons
So we are taking swim lessons. I am getting a little impatient and I am waiting for my daughter to catch on and hoping she does so before summer!
Every week we go and have a lesson. Some weeks we do nothing that exciting and new and some weeks we do.
This week was pretty good. She is now putting her eyes in the water and kicking, though it looks like she is running. I have the hardest time remembering what I did to learn how to swim. I guess I took swim lessons too but it is funny, I do not remember not knowing how to swim. Maybe she will feel the same way.
The only reason I am writing this is because I am frustrated it is taking so long and I need to vent. So thanks for listening. I think this week I felt like an idiot because 2 or 3 times I was called in to the pool area to wipe a booger that had come out of her nose and then I go and talk to the teacher when the lesson is over and my daughter is doing something with her hands down her pants. Nice... You wonder what the other parents are thinking. Oh well move on and I am sure they were not even looking at my daughter - they were looking at their kids.
Well if she doesn't learn to swim soon she sure does know how to blow out boogers on to her lip and take care of "things" inside her pants. UGH!
