Making a Little Extra Cash!I am going to split these in to three categories: Consistent Pay, When You Plan Pay and Percentage Pay. (I just made those names up myself).
Consistent Pay:
1. MDO or Preschool.
I work at a preschool. I love it. I show up twice a week (you can do 3 days a week or even 5 days). I teach kids and my child comes with me. I get paid consistently every 2 weeks. I love the consistency, I love the outlet of a "project" and it is a fun place to make some new friends. You don't even need a college degree to do it. Check one out in your area.
2. Tutoring or Online Tutoring
You can contact a tutoring service or a family that may need help. This is hard though because the hours may be when you want to be home.
When You Plan Pay:
1. Garage Sales (CLICK HERE FOR STEPS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!)
Plan a garage sale every now and then. We do them twice a year and sometimes more, especially when we are needing a little extra cash. Christmas time is a great time to have a garage sale. Try it - the pay is just when you plan for it but it is a nice bonus.
2. Second Hand Stores
Laura introduced me to taking things to second hand stores. You set up a contract with the store (according to their terms of course) and you will get a certain percentage of what you sell. This could go under percentage pay but it only will happen when you plan to take in clothes, toys or shoes to a second hand store. Again the pay is not consistent but it is a nice added touch when you need it.
Percentage Pay:
1. Arbonne
I have many friends that are doing Arbonne. It is a great skin care company. I can't say that I have not liked anything I have ordered. It is a great company and a great opportunity. It does take consistent selling and you get more percentage of the sells as you move up the ranks but once you get your clients, they will keep coming back. I have almost been using it a year and I love it and don't plan to stop using it. If done correctly, you can make thousands of dollars a month! Arbonne is available anywhere- so take a look at the following web page or email one of the folks below if you are interested in doing it as a business or just to get some awesome skin care:

OR email one of the following:

2. Juice Plus
Juice Plus comes in the form of a gummie vitamin for kids and capsules for adults. It is said to give you the number of servings of fruits and veggies you need for one day. I know I never give Sydney what she needs in terms of fruits and veggies, so I love giving these to her, not as a replacement, but as an assurance she is getting what she needs nutritionally. We take them too and feel like we have more energy and are sleeping better. This company, once you reach a certain number of points, gives you about 14% of every order you place from that point on. If you have any questions or want to buy some just email me (Dana) at Contact Us.
3. Other Home Based Businesses
I am not personally familiar with the following but know a few friends that have done them. I am pretty sure they all work the same way. So, maybe you can find one that fits you!
Pampered Chef
Southern Living
(if you would like more information contact slahsongbird@yahoo.com)
Silpada Jewelry
(if you would like more information visit www.mysilpada.com/andra.banks)
More to come as we find them!
