Favorite things:
Car Smelly Goodies
Instead of buying those expensive car smelling goodies that are so expensive, buy a box of Glade refills (you know, the gel ones) and punch a hole in the top part of it. Remove the backing off of it, tie a ribbon through it and hang it in your car. It has the same principal of the Yankee Candle ones but you get three of them for about $2 and they last for about 30 days each!
Organic essentials face wash from Freelife
NuBra Ultralite (aka "sticky boobs")
$22 at Steinmart. They are little cups that stick to you and hook in the front. Perfect for tank tops and backless tops. No bra straps! Rinse off with soap and water after each use. Mine lasted about 6 months before they lost their stickiness. Well worth the money!
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
Weleda Calendula Baby Cream
It is the best topical ointment for ANY skin aliment...diaper rash, scrapes, burns, punctures, etc...
Arriba Fire Roasted Mexican Red Salsa
Merona pants from Target, Modern Fit. Perfect length, perfect thickness, perfect waist, perfect rear, perfect price ($22.00)
Jogging/Exercise Trampoline from Academy. approx $40.00 This is FABULOUS--an inside "toy", and when you jump together (with a toddler), you both get exercise!
Binder of Recipes. I hate it when I loose a good recipe that someone has given me or I can’t remember what cookbook a specific recipe came from so, I decided to put all my recipes into clear plastic page protectors (to keep them clean while I cook because I am a messy cook) and then I place them in a large 2 or 3 inch binder. I have the binder organized by categories and even in alphabetically order.
The categories are as follows…(I have these in colored page protectors so the dividers are easy to spot.)
Appetizers and Snacks
Beef Dishes
Breads and Breakfast
Casseroles
Chicken Dishes
Desserts and Candy
Dips
Drinks
Pasta, Potatoes, and Pizza
Salads and Sandwiches

Grace Based Parenting by Tim Kimmel
Self Tanner: Loreal Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Towelettes. About $8 for a box of 6 wipes. No mess - MUCH easier than lotions or gels. The "Medium" shade looks pretty natural, even on fair skinned people. They also make smaller towelettes for your face.
Nail Polish: Revlon Colorstay "10-day Color". About $5 for a package which includes base color and topcoat. Lasts GREAT and very chip resistant. You can usually get at least 1 1/2 or 2 weeks of wear out of it. There are times when you may take it off and redo it just because it is growing out, not because it chipped.
Hair Dye: Clairol Natural Instincts. About $7 for a box. Semi-permanent, so it slowly washes out over a period of a couple of months. Unlike regular permanent hair dye this one is gentle enough to use on your entire head every time you use it - you don't have to mess with trying to only get your roots. It comes with a fantastic conditioner, and I think my hair actually feels healthier after having used it. Be warned, choose a color slightly lighter than your natural color, they tend to be a bit darker than you would think. For example, I think of my hair as "medium brown" but I use a dye for "light brown" hair.
