Competent is defined as "Having the necessary ability, knowledge or skill to do something successfully." Come with us as we try to be more competent in our motherhood. Here are some areas that may help:
Staying Current
Make sure you stay up with lingo, technology, and web pages. We want to be "in the know" and be cool moms that can have a conversation with all age groups. Our kids are going in this direction and probably know more than us. Lets try to keep up as best we can and stay with them as they travel along that road too. (They will pass us - and that is good - but try to stay current).
World News Terms
I have found that we all tend to watch the news and hear these terms and really have no clue what they mean. So, I have taken some time to define some of them for you.
